Hope's 2017 Update:

Hope is now eleven years old and has entered Class P6. Her favorite subject is religious studies and she wants to become an architect! Outside of school, Hope loves jumping rope.

Hope's 2015 Update:

Hope is nine years old, and is the second oldest of four children. Hope's father frequently suffers from health problems, and her mother, Susan, is working to earn an income for the family by running a used clothing boutique through our micrifinance program. Hope likes to sing, and dreams of becoming a teacher someday. She helps out around the house to help her mother, and suffers from stomach problems due to frequently having to eat bad food.
