Voclyn's 2016 Update:

Voclynis 11 years old and is being raised by a young single mother in the slums of Nairobi, Kenya. Her father was killed in an accident two years ago. Her mother, Maveline, is currently apprenticing to learn trade skills through our microfinance program. Voclyn has a younger brother, Briton, and a younger sister named Kate. She is in third grade, due to missing years of school after her father's death because her mother could not afford school fees. She likes to study English and Math, and wants to be a doctor someday. She likes to play soccer after school, her favorite color is red, and her favorite food is a flatbread called chapati. Your sponsorship will help Voclyn to have access to the educational and nutritional resources that she needs to thrive!
