Anna is a young single mother who lives in Kiboga, Uganda. She is part of a group of women in her community who have opened their homes and families to taking in and raising children who have been orphaned. She is the mother of Hairat, age seven. Anna is currently a tailor who makes and sells children's clothes, and is expanding her business through our economic empowerment program. She ultimately wants to become an elementary school teacher.
